4-H Robotics Club and FIRST LEGO League Competitors
Bacon Builders is a 4-H Robotics Club that competes in FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition in the Central Florida Region. Team members are between the age of 9 and 14. Many students on our team are homeschooled, but students from any school can join. We are mentored by FRC Team 1902 – Exploding Bacon! Many of our graduating team members join this award winning team.
We don’t just compete! We share our love of FIRST and STEM!
We love to share our robots throughout the community, spreading our love of STEM. In the off season, we choose fun robot and engineering projects to keep us challenged. We even developed our own LEGO Mindstorms Regolith Mining Robot to demonstrate at the NASA Robotic Mining Competition. It's more difficult than it looks.

Our team mentors two 4-H FIRST LEGO League JR teams – the CloverBots (Pink and Blue). We help them with their Expo Project and teach them new approaches to solving challenges. They learn how a FIRST LEGO League team runs and how we work as a team.
