Our team has demoed at over 15 locations in the last two years. You might have seen us at the Orlando Maker Faire, Orlando Regional FRC Competition, Lockheed Martin E-Week, NASA Robotic Mining Competition, Mentor Meet-up at the Microsoft Store, Otronicon at the Orlando Science Center, Casselberry Elementary Family Fun Day, Star Wars Reads Day at the Winter Park Library, CSC Technical and Sales Conference and more.
We are mentoring,to guide future FIRST LEGO League teams!
Our team mentors FIRST LEGO League Jr. Teams – the CloverBots (Pink and Blue), to assist them with their expo. We also have three 8 year olds who attend our meetings and work on robot programming while observing how a FIRST LEGO League team works. At all of our demos, we help parents, teachers, and community leaders find ways to start their own teams. We are helping FIRST grow!
We display Gracious Professionalism® and Coopertition® in everything we do.
Although we compete like crazy, we always remember to treat each other and other teams with respect. At competition, we cheer and encourage other teams, as well as lending a helping hand whenever needed. Teamwork is what FIRST is all about – this is a trait we will need when on an engineering team as adults. ‘Character’ is what matters, in FIRST and in life!
